This project was an example of how a roof repair can turn into a roof replacement if not properly addressed early enough. The customer contacted us for a few pipes that were leaking. When our technician arrived he discovered a tarp on the back side of the roof covering two pipe vents. These pipes were indeed leaking. The water damage inside was down quite a bit further and over from where these pipes were located. Therefore we were not positive they were causing the inside damage. The homeowner opted to have the entire area re-roofed to ensure that the leak was properly taken care of instead of using a band-aid where surgery was needed.
