We were very excited to install our latest roof. You see, these homeowners have been our clients for many years now. We have helped them repair their roof while saving up the money to have a new roof installed. It seemed each spring they would call with another repair that needed to be done and inform us that they were still saving towards that new roof that they knew was needed. Well, we were finally able to help them install this new roof. They chose an excellent shingle with IKO Dynasty AR. This shingle comes with most of the bells and whistles of a Class IV shingle, with the exception being the impact resistance. It does have a 130 mph wind load, something many homeowners overlook in our hail prone area. Wind damage is also a significant concern with any storms we have here in Texas. It also has algae-resistance built into the shingles.
